Telemedicine is an upcoming field in health science arising out of the effective fusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with Medical Science having enormous potential in meeting the challenges of healthcare delivery to rural and remote areas besides several other applications in education, training and management in health sector.

Under the Government of India’s Remote Medical Services Program, Voice Trust has been the partner of Tata Tele medicine. The biggest advantage for patients is that they can now consult the best doctors in the county remotely and get treated for their illness.
We have initiated a telemedicine project to serve the needs of communities in the remotest parts of Madurai, Theni, Bodi and Kadamalaikundu
Based on the ‘hub-and- spoke ‘model, the project will provide diagnostics and medical consultation services through video conferencing with specialized doctors and equipment available at the telemedicine clinics.
