What is Child Sponsorship?
Child sponsorship is one of the best ways to give children better lives and futures.

Sponsoring a child through Voice Trust Madurai is one of the most effective, inspiring and rewarding ways to help children. You’ll be doing much more than helping to meet children’s basic needs – you’ll be helping to equip them for life. By bringing about lasting change in your sponsored child’s community, you’ll also be improving the lives of many other vulnerable children.

When you sponsor a child, you will receive photograph of your sponsored child, information about your child, child’s family and community, annual report indicating the progress of your child.

Child sponsorship is a regular giving program, wherein your (monthly/quarterly/half yearly/annual) contribution ensures education, healthcare support and a safe childhood to children from the most marginalized communities in India.

Focusing on the specific needs of the children in each program, your sponsorship will help provide things like:

• Nutritious well balanced Morning Breakfast at child’s place
• In house tuition to allow the children to grow confident and catch up with the level of their peers at school

Regular giving (or direct debit) helps us to plan for long-term projects. There is an urgent need for regular giving as the people we work with, need help every day. Your regular donation allows us to implement impactful programmes which will bring about a substantial change in their lives.

Initially, we have decided to implement the program in Madurai East Block which comprises of 36 Village Panchayat, selecting one child from each Panchayat. The needy children will be selected by the school teachers. Priority will be given to school dropout children from Government Schools.

For yearly basis, you donate ₹ 9,000 per child per year. For monthly option, you donate ₹750 per child per month through Credit Card Standing Instructions (CCSI) or Automated Clearing House (ACH), whichever mode of payment is preferred although we strongly recommend CCSI to ensure uninterrupted support for your sponsored child. We recommend a minimum of 3-year-long support in the best interest of the child.

Voice Trust Madurai is a 12A registered organization which means 50% of your donations are exempted from tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961
