Managing Health Crisis

Non-Governmental Organizations play a crucial role in managing health crises around the world. These crises can range from natural disasters to disease outbreaks and humanitarian emergencies. NGOs are often among the first to respond to health crises. They have the flexibility to mobilize quickly and provide immediate relief, such as medical supplies, food, water, and shelter, to affected communities. We at Voice Trust provide Hygiene awareness services: Many NGOs specialize in healthcare delivery. They establish and operate clinics, hospitals, and mobile medical units to provide essential medical care to those in need. They also train local healthcare workers and volunteers. Public Awareness: NGOs are instrumental in raising public awareness about health crises. They educate communities on preventive measures, symptoms, and treatment options, helping to contain the spread of diseases and mitigate health risks

World Toilet Day Program at Karchery village

World Toilet Day was organized at Karchery village. Already in the previous years Voice trust has utilized the funds of the Central Government in building toilets to the rural population in parts of Madurai and Theni Districts. Every year in one of the target areas Voice Trust Observes the World toilet Day to motivate the people on the need to build utilizing the services and funds of the state and the central Government. In the evening with the village elders and a majority of the population mostly women, Voice Trust personnel with their chief Mr. T. IHHL (Individual Household Latrine Application) Project To Prevent Open Defecation

Our trust empowers individuals through Educate for aware Health & Sanitation. Voice Trust has donated more than 100 individual toilets in Virudhunagar and Madurai East Panchayat Union in collaboration with Rural Development Agency of Madurai District. More than one third of the world’s population still lacks access to adequate sanitation. World Toilet Organization addresses the sanitation crisis by empowering local communities through powerful advocacy, education, inventive technology and local marketplace opportunities. “The benefits for India’s poor, its environment – and the safety of its girls and women – could be truly revolutionary”. Building the toilets will be only part of the challenge. Even more important is getting people to use them, now and in the future. Hundreds of abandoned sanitation projects across the developing world testify to the fact that this is no easy feat, and that simply assuming that it will happen is a recipe for failure. Our initiative is one small step to help change the sanitation behaviour of communities who are currently prone to diseases borne through open defecation.
